Anything can be an adventure!
Natan Leong is an adventure photojournalist that earned his education at MacEwan University. He has been inspired by adventurous National Geographic films displaying the vastness of our planet, non-fiction novels of great adventures, and photographs of the enduring human spirit taken by the likes of Jimmy Chin or Corey Rich. When anything can be seen as an adventure, he wants to photograph it.
A world where anything can happen is a world of adventure. He shoots big adventures up mountains and on the edge of cliffs to small everyday adventures, such as sharing a nice meal or playing a customary game of chess. What he aims to catch in each image is the moment just before an event, "the decisive moment," as Henri Cartier-Bresson called it.
